Hmm... Sometimes it seems too difficult for most of us to plan and executive business transactions legitimately, rather we are full of plans, tactics and wisdom when it comes to swimming in crime without being caught. It has been many days for the thief and one for the Law as two human parts dealers are now regretting their actions in
the police net.
Two men who have been dealing in human parts for several
years have been arrested by the police in Lagos.
The suspects who were arrested over the weekend with a human
skull by operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, (SARS), of Lagos State
Police Command, have confessed that they travel to far places like Cotonou in
Benin Republic, to purchase the parts which they later sell to their customers.
One of the suspects, Dipo Olorunto, 35, confessed that he
bought the human skull for N12,500 and was on the way to deliver it to his customer,
an herbalist by the name Baba Isegun, who had bargained to buy it for N20,000.
The suspected buyer was also arrested at the Atan Ota area
of Ogun State.
Olorunto said:
"Baba Isegun told me to bring a human skull for him to
buy. He said he uses it to treat sicknesses such as madness. I work as a farmer
in Atan Ota area. It was a friend who introduced me to Baba Isegun that I could
help him get human parts.
I had to go to Cotonou to buy the head. I wanted to sell it
to him for N20,000. But police arrested me before I got to him."
