A member of the National Assembly, Hon. Bimbo Daramola, has
dismissed the speculation that his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) is
going to field a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the
presidential and
vice-presidential slots in next year’s general elections, just as the lawmaker
has finalized arrangements to donate a 32-bed hospital to his community.
Speaking with the newsmen in Ado Ekiti yesterday, Daramola
urged members of the public to disregard such a speculation “as it was mere
speculation”
Daramola who is representing Oye -Ikole Federal Constituency
in the House of Representatives urged Nigerians to wait until the party picks
its candidate.
The lawmaker promised that his party would not leave any
stone unturned towards ensuring that the party do the needful by considering
the socio -political and religious factors in picking its candidates in 2015
general elections.
