It was indeed a sorry sight at Shoprite, Surulere, Sunday
when Daily Independent sighted popular Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu.
Clad in a Manchester United jersey, blue jean pants and
bathroom slippers, Azuzu who suffered stroke sometime ago and still limping was
practically begging shoppers money to eat!
He was a shadow of himself. One needed to take closer look
at him to recognise he were the one. It was a pathetic sight to behold.
The eccentric actor confided in Daily Independent that the
president of Actors Guild, Ibinabo Fiberesima and some others are aware of his
condition but have refused to come to his aid.
He said he now depends on good spirited Nigerians for
survival.
