Two Female students of the University of Benin, Ugbowo
Campus were hit by an oncoming vehicle at 10:15Am sunday morning, 19th July
2015.
It was gathered that the 200 level philosophy student named
Halim Rita Awele was dead while the other girl is in critical
conditions. She is currently suffering from internal Bleeding.
The Lagos-Benin Expressway in the Capital city of Edo State
has been taken over by the students of University of Benin protesting over the
death of one of their colleagues who was ran over by a Military Patrol Van.
However, the officers who were the drivers of the van took
off hence the Students protesting that the officers who murdered there colleague
be brought to Justice
