Bomb explodes at Enugu polling unit

There has been a bomb blast at the polling unit located inside WTC primary school, Enugu north local government, in the capital of Enugu state

 A resident close to the school told TheCable that she “heard a bang some minutes after 9am” but did not know the cause or other details. Journalists were denied access to the scene as well. As at the time of filing this report, Dan Bature, commissioner of police in the state, had arrived at the site of the incident but he had not made any comment. The police anti-bomb squad unit (pictured at the scene) said it was on ground and had “carried out two controlled explosions”.
